Background:
This project centers on the conceptualization and design of a multifunctional furniture piece tailored to address a specific user need. The aim was to create a versatile space that seamlessly integrates a functional work surface with the aesthetics and utility of a coffee table, incorporating ample storage solutions.

CONCEPTS
Ideating:
To deeply comprehend the construction and final realization of the design, I embarked on an extensive ideation process. This involved creating numerous 1/8th scale laser-cut models, facilitating a continuous interplay between 3D modeling and physical prototyping. This iterative approach allowed for a thorough exploration of design possibilities and refinements.

Version 2
Final Design:
Ultimately, my final design integrates a versatile work surface that allows for comfortable floor seating and functionality as both a desk and a coffee table with integrated storage solutions.

Additional Element:
I also crafted a floor seat using Fusion 360 to go along with the table design. This provides a more ergonomic alternative to using a coffee table as a work surface. The seat features a removable cushion available in various colors, enhancing both comfort and aesthetic flexibility. The wooden base doubles as a tray when the cushion is removed. The floor seat is designed to fit seamlessly onto the bottom shelf of the coffee table, ensuring effortless storage and a cohesive look.

Packaging:
To highlight the ease of disassembly, this image demonstrates the flatpack nature of the design. Utilizing only 8 screws, all components are neatly stacked, ensuring optimal shipping, storage, and shelf life.
